These delicious meatballs work well with some rice and vegetables or in a flatbread with salad, hot sauce and yoghurt.
500g goat mince
Buy3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp pepper
100g feta, crumbled
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp thyme leaves
10g parsley, finely chopped
1-2 slices of white bread, crust removed and blitzed in a food processor to make crumbs
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp pomegranate molasses (optional)
60g dried cranberries
40g pine nuts
1 egg
1 small onion, grated
2 garlic cloves, minced
10g parsley, finely chopped
3/4 tsp ground turmeric
3/4 tsp ground cumin
Pre-heat the oven to 200°C fan.
Combine together the mince, salt, pepper and all the ingredients from your chosen version in a stand mixer or using your hands if you prefer. Shape into balls about 3cm wide.
Transfer to a parchment-lined baking tray and bake for 10 minutes or until cooked through. Serve hot.
