Goat Meatballs – Two Ways

These delicious meatballs work well with some rice and vegetables or in a flatbread with salad, hot sauce and yoghurt.

Main ingredients

  • 500g goat mince

    Buy
  • 3/4 tsp salt

  • 3/4 tsp pepper

With feta

  • 100g feta, crumbled

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tbsp thyme leaves

  • 10g parsley, finely chopped

  • 1-2 slices of white bread, crust removed and blitzed in a food processor to make crumbs

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 2 tsp pomegranate molasses (optional)

Persian inspired

  • 60g dried cranberries

  • 40g pine nuts

  • 1 egg

  • 1 small onion, grated

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 10g parsley, finely chopped

  • 3/4 tsp ground turmeric

  • 3/4 tsp ground cumin
